Description

The Marketing & Design Strategist reports to the Marketing Director and is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and creative support for Parkway’s assets, which serves to create and execute industry-leading marketing and communications programs.


Focus Areas of Responsibility

  • Brings expertise in marketing and design trends, social media, events, graphic design, SEO, analytics, reputation management, and conversion rate optimization to the organization.
  • Works with the Marketing Director to plan overall marketing strategies for client account(s).
  • Serves as the point person on a key client(s) account(s) where they are responsible for client communication and satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute annual strategic marketing plans to meet client goals utilizing multiple marketing mediums, including advertising strategy/media buying, public relations, social media, newsletter campaigns, events and activations, art programming, property tenant support, website management, leasing support, and graphic design.
  • Responsible for creating and managing annual six-figure budgets.
  • Collaborates with Parkway’s Asset Management team to meet client goals through budget reporting, investor reporting, creating custom presentations, strategy alignment, and project planning.
  • Works closely with Parkway’s Property Operations team on budgeting, investor reporting, events and activations, tenant support, property signage, and art programming.
  • Collaborates with Parkway’s National Creative Director and Strategic Advisory + Leasing team to boost retail and office leasing efforts for multiple clients through leasing brochures, e-marketing efforts, leasing signage, and events.
  • Provides consistent marketing support to property tenants to help secure high sales through tenant meetings, social media, marketing of in-store promotions, and aligning with corporate goals.
  • Plans and executes public art projects with artists and art programming agencies (murals, sculptures, community art projects).
  • Conducts weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to measure the success of campaigns and events to be delivered to internal and external partners.
  • Ability to curate and execute unique events and activations, providing occasional event coverage for the Marketing + Creative team.
  • Manages multiple external vendors and agencies, holding them accountable to their scope of work.
  • Communicates and interacts with tenants, clients, and investors with the highest level of customer service.
  • Curate, schedule and maintain Parkway’s corporate social media account, help grow engagement, and incorporate leading social media and industry trends.
  • Works with the National Creative Director to ensure brand consistency and design and create a variety of graphic assets based on established brand guidelines, including:  Marketing material (brochures, flyers, presentations), Digital assets (social media graphics, email templates), Print materials (RFP’s, annual reports, advertisements).
  • Collaborate with corporate and property teams to create cohesive and effective campaigns. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company's creative output remains innovative.
  • Serve as a vital part of the Marketing + Creative team, providing support and collaborating with other team members daily.
  • Spends time learning independently and with Marketing + Creative team members, taking classes, and attending conferences and webinars.
  • Willingness to work daily in a corporate office environment.
  • Ability to travel for offsite team meetings, client visits, property visits, and company retreats as necessary.
  • Ability to work after hours or weekends for events.
  • Delivers a consistently superior product that is strategic and, above all, creative.
  • Research market competitors and provides ideas to elevate team strategy.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, PR, or Communications preferred
  • A minimum of 2 – 5 years of marketing experience
  • Real Estate experience preferred
  • Desire to add value and grow with the company

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
