Coordinator, Facilities
Description


Inter Miami CF seeks a facilities coordinator who will assist the Facilities Engineer in maintaining and repairing all the systems in the Stadium and Training Facility, including, but not limited to, air handling, plumbing, electrical, technical and refrigeration. This position will coordinate facility planning, construction projects, support for renovations, and creation of a comprehensive plan to ensure facilities are maintained without interruption to events.  


As a Facilities Coordinator, you will: 

  • Assist the Facilities Engineer with permit compliance, application, renewals for items related to venue maintenance and includes, but is not limited to, elevators, backflow preventers, fire suppression and sprinkler systems, sewer lifts and grease traps, chilled water lines, transformers, and emergency power generation. 
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of all air handling systems, refrigeration systems, plumbing systems, and electrical systems. 
  • Support the Facilities Engineer in areas of capital projects, facilities, and development. 
  • Coordinates with internal and external departments to ensure that facility needs are communicated, coordinated, and executed seamlessly. 
  • Assist with wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures. 
  • Perform physical inspections of the facilities on a routine basis ensuring that safety and appearance issues have been appropriately addressed.  
  • Other duties and projects as assigned. 
Requirements

 

  • Must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with chiller plants, air handling systems, refrigeration systems, plumbing systems and electrical systems. 
  • Must have beginner’s knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, carpentry, MEP, paint, general construction knowledge. 
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge of major facilities and maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions as they pertain to engineering operation of a large facility. 
  • Experience with locksmithing, cutting keys, pinning locks, repairing, and adjusting door hardware. 
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency a plus. 
  • Experience functioning in a 24/7 operating environment and ability to work extended hours and weekends and holidays when required. 

Physical Demands: 

  • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. 
  • This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.
