Summary
The Southwest Strategies Group is seeking a full-time, Digital Marketing and Advocacy Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and executing digital media for clients and enhancing the execution of our marketing and business development plan through increasing brand awareness across digital channels and attracting new clients.

Position:
Location and Travel: Roles hired in San Diego operate on a hybrid schedule, with 2-3 days onsite in the San Diego Headquarters. Roles outside of San Diego are primarily remote with varying expectations of visits to satellite offices and clients. This role will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
Salary Range: $68,000-$78,000 (dependent on experience). This is an exempt (salary) position.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of digital marketing strategies, landscape and trends
- Create digital advocacy campaigns to support the goals of the company and clients
- Develop and administer social media content designed to engage users and create interactive online relationships
- Utilize advertising tools to implement and optimize digital advertising campaigns, including display/retargeting, video, mobile, SEM, Google, OTT and Facebook advertising
- Ensure targeted messaging development through creating specific content tailored to particular audiences
- Develop benchmarks and ongoing weekly or monthly reporting to measure progress and performance; assist in maintaining client metric dashboards
- Develop digital media, internet and web page content for company and clients
- Make informed data-driven decisions for company and client social media strategies
- Utilize public affairs best practices to identify and pursue new and innovative ways to tell company and client stories
- Collaborate with influencers/ambassadors
- Continue knowledge of news, current affairs, content marketing/social media, influencer/ambassador, and digital trends and tactics
- Be familiar with social media platforms and manage LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat accounts, as well as emerging platforms
- Place, monitor and adjust media buys to optimize results
- Research new advertising channels and stay abreast of online advertising trends
- Additional duties as required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, advertising, public relations, business administration or similar field
- 2-5 years' experience in marketing, digital engagement, video production, advertising and/or business development
