Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community-based social service organization that provides services for families involved with DFCS as well as in the community. We are a DFCS partnered agency that works with families that are involved with DFCS. GTS is currently seeking a part-time Community Liaison. The Community Liaison will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with DFCS and other community organizations to ensure that our organization is responsive to the needs and concerns of the community. 


 Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Building and maintain relationships with DFCS and other community organizations to ensure that GTS is responsive to the needs and concerns of the community.
  • Represent the GTS at community events, provider fairs, and meetings.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between GTS and the community. 
  • Create database of community partners and generate written correspondence via newsletters and other marketing materials in partnership with other Goshen Valley Foundation Development and Communication staff. 
  • Provide information to community partners about our services, staff, and answering questions about our services.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from the community to inform executive leadership of GTS. 


Additionally, the right Community Liaison candidate will show proficiency in Creativity and Innovation; Influencing Others; Interpersonal Skills; and be Goal Orientated as well as have a focus on Teamwork.


This is a part-time position and is expected to be up to 20 hours per week. 

Benefits include 401k eligibility. 

This is a hybrid position and has portions that could be completely remotely once trained. Attendance to staff meetings, all-staff training and activities is still expected.

Requirements

The requirements for the  Community Liaison :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs like excel.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability o maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be of good character and supportive of the standards, policies, and program ideals of GVF.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screen, and be insurable/bondable by the GVF insurance carrier.
Salary Description
$20/hr
