SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this role is working collaboratively with Parrish DeVaughn attorneys to provide the best legal services possible for the benefit of our clients.

Requirements


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Attorney to develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for discovery, investigation, mediation, handling, and trial/hearing of cases.
  • Research applicable laws, regulations, and legal precedents to support attorneys.
  • Submit necessary and appropriate documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions and/or settlement negotiations as requested by lead Attorney.?
  • Assist Attorney to prepare for discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and/or other legal proceedings relevant to cases.
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of the law and firm.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Managing Attorney.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be enrolled in JD program with an accredited Law School
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
