We are excited to announce an opening for the VP of Account Management, a pivotal role within our organization dedicated to managing and nurturing our most strategic accounts. This leadership position will not only oversee a team of Account Managers, but also be the key driver of account maintenance and growth for our high-value clients. Your mission will be to elevate client satisfaction and drive revenue growth across LendKey's portfolio of 400+ clients. 


What you’ll do: 

  • Strategic Account Management: Take ownership of our most critical accounts, ensuring their ongoing success and satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategies that foster long-term partnerships. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—including Technology, Product, Operations, and Compliance—to deliver seamless solutions that meet client needs. Your ability to coordinate across departments will be essential in driving client success and addressing any challenges that arise. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers. Foster a culture of excellence and accountability while aligning team efforts with company objectives. 
  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in client events and industry conferences to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and promote our offerings. 
  • Process Optimization: Enhance team efficiency by defining and implementing streamlined processes, ensuring that best practices are followed across the team. 
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with the Lender Partnership (Sales) team to identify cross-selling opportunities and improve overall sales success. 
Requirements

What we’re looking for: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales role working directly with Credit Unions is required. Proven experience managing complex client relationships is essential. 
  • Management Skills: Over 2 years of management experience, preferably in account management or sales environments. 
  • Cross-Functional Experience: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce.com is preferred; experience with other CRM tools is a plus. 
  • Event Experience: Previous participation in trade shows or industry conferences is advantageous. 
  • Resilience Under Pressure: Must possess thick skin and the ability to perform well under immense pressure. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential in this fast-paced environment. 
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration. 
  • Travel: Ability to travel 50%

The full-time base salary range for this role in the United States is between $130,000 - $160,000 + bonus and / or commissions + equity + benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as market job location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as evaluated throughout the interview process.
