Description
- Cleans and services buildings, offices, shop areas, furniture, fixtures & windows
- Maintains cleanliness of lunchroom, microwave & kitchen 2 x day
- Empties waste baskets, removes trash for daily disposal, including recycling bins, inserting liners
- Vacuum carpeted areas daily, spot cleaning stains. Responsible for yearly carpet shampoo schedules
- Polishes tile floors annually. Sweeps & mops floors daily. Machine buff or burnish as needed
- Cleans & sanitizes bathrooms daily including supplies of paper products & soap
- Maintains grounds and premises: mowing, landscaping, cleanup, raking, trimming & parking lot
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Exposure to normal office environment, shop hazards, some chemical hazards and products.
- Read and follow verbal instructions; follow established safety procedures; visual acuity.
- Effectively communicate in both English and Spanish.
