KidGuard Insurance, a division of DOXA, is seeking an Account Executive to add to their growing team. KidGuard Insurance is a leading provider of Student Accident insurance, serving over 400,000 students across more than 1,000 public and private schools in nine states. Operating as a licensed Third-Party Administrator (TPA) from our Orlando, Florida location, with corporate headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana, we specialize in comprehensive student accident coverage and efficient claims management.

Description

  • The Account Executive supports the Business Unit President and is responsible for all customer service functions.
  • The Account Executive speaks daily with customers, fielding questions and processing endorsements, invoices, and policies. The Account Executive also meets periodically with customers to conduct program reviews, discuss policy terms and conditions, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate will understand Accident & Health products and services, including competitive features and benefits, to consistently meet customer needs.
  • The ideal candidate will develop trusted relationships with customers and recognizes gaps in coverage to see opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and innovation.
  • The ideal candidate will develop an understanding of risk appetite and underwriting guidelines and become capable of evaluating and pricing risks.
  • The ideal candidate will support the business unit leader in the reporting of new and renewal business flow, hit ratios, and market intelligence.
  • The ideal candidate will represent the business unit at trade shows and industry events.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Function as the primary service contact for all customers. Answer questions. Process and issue endorsements, invoices, and policies.
  • Develop rapport with customers. Become a trusted resource for risk management, insurance, and claims solutions.
  • Explain risks and identify gaps in coverage.
  • Customize insurance solutions, maximizing program coverage within customers’ insurance budgets.
  • Upsell customers from voluntary to blanket programs.
  • Explain claims benefits, claims processes and claims procedures.
  • Prepare new and renewal terms and conditions and review them for accuracy.
  • Create proposals and presentations to satisfy business unit requirements.
  • Present new and renewal terms and conditions, explaining features, benefits, and gaps.
  • Continually seek educational, technical, and professional development opportunities to expand a professional network and develop product knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned by Doxa Executive Leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of insurance Account Management experience.
  • Experience in MGA/MGU or brokerage environments preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Licensed in or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire Accident & Health and/or Life & Health in state of domicile.
  • Familiarity with specialized retail agencies across the country.
  • Preferred but not required knowledge of A&H coverage including Blanket Accident, Special Risk, Student Accident, CAT Coverage, International Travel policy language, and risk management concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite and ability to learn new policy administration systems to perform the job efficiently.
