Hammer & Steel seeks to hire a Sales Representative (Territory/Technical Sales) to join our team in Texas region. This is a remote role (Territory coverage will include North Texas and Oklahoma).
We are seeking experienced applicants that are professional, energetic, goal oriented, willing to travel and most importantly customer centric.
Shift: Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- The Sales Representative will identify customer opportunities in the early stages of foundation and shoring construction projects.
- Provide elite customer experience, both pre- and post-sale, to drive customer loyalty and account development.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective customers in an assigned territory securing new and repeat business.
- Regular communications and visits to construction projects, offices and shops reaching essential decision makers for conversation of equipment sales and rental opportunities.
- Negotiate and draft comprehensive written proposals / quotes for the sale or rental of equipment.
- Interface with operations, parts and service groups to ensure customer orders for piling products, piling driving and drilling equipment are fulfilled according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the sales team across United States to support national customer presence.
- Build contacts/pipeline networks in assigned territory.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions in the United States and abroad.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older; Valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Five (5) or more years of technical sales experience. (Technical experience in heavy construction highly desirable)
- Ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
- Proficiency with CRM and the Microsoft Suite of Products including Excel, Word and Office.?
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotech, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. Construction Management or Technical Field highly desired.
- Experience or knowledge of the foundation and shoring industries. ?
