We currently have five lumber yards, two showrooms, a custom mill, a production door shop, and a commercial door frame and hardware location. Position:
You will drive well-maintained Box Trucks to deliver building materials to job sites throughout the local area while providing friendly and professional service. The driver is responsible for safely using equipment to load and unload materials. Drivers must comply with all highway rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous Box Truck driving experience, preferably with building materials
- Load and unload trucks
- Ensure that all materials are properly secured in transit
- Ensure that all customer returns are inspected and handled according to procedure
- Operate a forklift (remain forklift certified) and /or pallet jack as needed to assist in warehouse
- Complete pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure that required preventive maintenance is completed on vehicles being operated
- Pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Have an acceptable driving record
- Be able to obtain/maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate (Med Card)
- Basic reading, writing ,and arithmetic skills required
