Southwest Electric Co., a trusted electrical services provider for over 75 years, is hiring a Field Service Technician I. This role involves installing, aligning, and maintaining rotating equipment and electric motors at customer sites with supervision.

Field Service Technician I Summary:

Candidate must possess a basic understanding of electric motor (AC and DC) operation and the associated controls. Technician will perform installation, alignment, and balancing of rotating equipment in a site-specific field location with supervision.

Requirements

Field Service Technician I

Perform preventive and predictable maintenance activities on all company equipment.
Basic proficiency performing installation, alignment and balancing of rotating equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring and schematic diagrams and connections.
Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
Must be able to pass various drug screens required by customers and DOT.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
