As a Senior Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers, you will be a key player in developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will work independently and as part of a team to design and implement electrical systems for a variety of industries, including power utilities, renewable energy, and heavy industrial. Your ability to learn new technologies quickly and your commitment to quality will be essential to your success in this role.

This is a hybrid role for an Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers. While the position is primarily based in St. Louis, MO, it offers flexibility to work from home at times after initial training has been completed (remote options include: Houston, TX; Sheridan, WY; Charlotte, NC).


Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in any core area of: 
    • T&D Substation design
    • Renewable Energy - Solar, BESS, Electrification
    • Power Engineering with a focus on heavy industrial systems
    • System Relaying
  • Working ability with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electric utility industry and environmental issues

Preferred requirements:

  • PE license
