Vibration Analyst

We are looking for hard-working and culture-oriented individuals to join our Vibration Analysis team. In this role, you will work remotely, analyzing and reporting the general health of rotating equipment for our customers. The role supports the customer experience through our industry-leading products and services. This team and role are integral to the culture and success of our company. We are a leading provider of wireless, mesh-networked, "Internet of Things" (IoT) sensors for industrial environments. Reports to: Manager of Global Analytics

Location: Fully remote

Travel: Occasional

Job Description:

This position will give you the opportunity to - 

• Review and report on the general health of rotating equipment
• Provide internal and external customer delight through excellent interpersonal skills and communication
• Use vibration analysis to determine root cause of machine faults and create customer-oriented solutions to prevent equipment downtime
• Improve manufacturing equipment reliability and uptime at customer’s plants.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships founded on trust, respect, and reliability.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently with little supervision.
• Assume management duties when necessary.
• Shadow, learn, and work alongside a team of Vibration Analysts 
• Infrequent travel to customer facilities as needed 
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.

Qualifications: 

• VCAT II or VCAT III certification 
• Preferred Bachelors or Associates degree, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of vibration analysis experience preferred
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems and rotating equipment. Ideally comes from a background in mechanical engineering, reliability, etc. 
• Customer-first focus and attitude, and ability to work with individuals of all corporate levels
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Google Suite platforms
• Strong customer service skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication 
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with coworkers and customers
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
• Must comply with all OSHA and safety regulations and company standards.
• Ability to travel and work at job sites, as needed. 
• Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
