Job Description

We're seeking a mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our healthcare interoperability platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a particular focus on Next.js, React, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, Python, Typescript
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between different components of our healthcare interoperability platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle large volumes of healthcare data
• Implement and maintain data security measures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in existing applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and healthcare IT

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack software development
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, and Python
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with AWS Amplify
• Familiarity with database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL)
• Understanding of web security best practices
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in healthcare IT or familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is preferred
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about new technologies and healthcare industry trends
