Job Title: Weekend Service Team Lead

Location:  Santa Rosa

Reports to: Executive Pastor

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Status: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week

The Weekend Service Team Lead oversees weekend set-up, tear-down, and hospitality for our weekend services. This individual will ensure that the space is well-prepared to provide outstanding hospitality to all guests. The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a warm, organized, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set-Up and Tear-Down:

• Arrange seating, tables, umbrellas, tents, and necessary materials in designated spaces.
• Following services make sure that everything is put away, stored properly.
• Confirm that signage and materials are correctly displayed.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support the Set-up/Tear-down volunteer team.

Hospitality Team Leadership:

• Coordinate and actively engage with the hospitality volunteers ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers in various hospitality roles, including greeting, ushering, and managing refreshments.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure all hospitality needs are met before, during, and after services.
• Monitor the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, including bathrooms, ensuring restocking of supplies as needed.

Experience/Skills

• Prior experience in event setup, hospitality, or facility operations is preferred.
• Leadership experience in volunteer or team coordination is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while leading a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 ponds at a time.

Time Commitment

• Part-time, non-exempt, at-will.
• Position includes working weekends, evenings and holidays.
