Position: Delivery Driver

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 5 day workweek -No weekends

Summary

Perform deliveries and in-home installations of furniture and accessories. Must drive a company box truck and pull, prep, and assemble high-end furniture. Help in the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Drive company vehicles to make in-home deliveries
• Prep and assemble furniture and accessories in a customer’s home
• Receive and process furniture and rack in the correct warehouse location
• Operate forklift, picker, dolly, pallet jack and reach truck using all safety equipment
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Learn and use company software to update transfers, receiving, and inventory
• Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
• Permanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintaining a clean driving record

• Experience driving a box truck, (minimum 6 months)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for 3 years and qualify to be insured by the company
• White-glove customer service mindset and communication proficiency
• Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, plus scanning and computer equipment.
• Reliability and Punctuality
• 1-year warehouse and furniture delivery experience preferred
• High School education or equivalent
• Professional appearance is a must.
