Job Summary:
The CUBRC, Inc. San Diego office has an immediate requirement to fill a Systems Administration position supporting multiple state-of-the-art research and development projects. The successful candidate will join a team of researchers and software engineers to provide system administration and information security best practices and procedures. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will perform Systems Administration tasking for supporting our system architecture, design, security implementation, and test procedures under the direction of our Principal Engineer.
This position is 100% onsite at a U.S. Government facility and no remote work is possible.

Minimum Required Qualifications
· Cyber Security Workforce IAT II qualified RedHat Enterprise Linux system administrator.
· DoD 8570 approved security certification (i.e., Security +) accreditation.
· Current DoD Security Clearance (SECRET – Minimum)
Desired Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field with 3+ years of experience with System Administration and information security governance. Associates Degree plus 5 years of experience may be substituted.
· Experience conducting technology and cybersecurity risk management assessments and creating risk profile reports
· Knowledge of information system security policies, standards, and best practices
· Coordinate and perform technical and non-technical assessments to evaluate compliance with established information assurance policies and regulations
· Experience performing maintenance and system upgrades to an existing hardware and network infrastructure
· Basic computer networking knowledge and experience integrating network hardware and servers
· Microsoft Windows 10/11 systems administration experience
· Vsphere ESXi systems administration experience
· Experience with the application and maintenance of DISA Security Technical Implantation Guide (STIG) controls
· Experience performing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) vulnerability scanning
· Maintenance of Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) audit records for associated assets
· Experience using eMASS and/or XACTA risk management systems
· Experience maintaining vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) audit records for associated assets
· Experience performing remediation and mitigation of associated vulnerability findings for offline assets and network connected systems
· Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support routine monthly reporting requirements with an emphasis on control and final delivery of the written components of the system architecture hardware and software components.

Must be able to obtain and remain eligible for a US Department of Defense security clearance during the course of employment
