Description
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Analyst will be a strategic partner supporting finance and clinic operations. The successful candidate will provide financial and analytical support for the Georgia Practices around reporting and support for management decisions. This position will be a high-profile position interacting with all levels of management and physicians in the organization. The position will prepare monthly financial reports for month end close and senior-level reporting requirements for MORs. The position will have exposure to many facets of the business.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to support each essential function satisfactorily.
- Analyze revenue, volume, expense, and productivity trends by site, service line, and provider
- Support the preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly financial reports with operating results and, working with the finance team, provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of key variance and trends
- Provide financial analytical support to site managers, regional directors, and senior management
- Perform actual to budget variance analysis and develop projections to provide financial analyses to support operations and management decisions
- Update and maintain models to estimate financial performance and develop proformas to evaluate financial results for new service lines, equipment purchases, and de novo offices
- Participate in internal MORs to gather information on volume trends and performance against budget
- Perform managed care contracting analysis/modeling to support Managed Care department for contract negotiations
- Work closely with FP&A department of MSO to provide commentary and analysis for MORs
- Collaborate with Finance & Accounting Department to complete month end close responsibilities
- Work with Finance and Accounting and Clinical Operations teams to develop annual budgets for Georgia practices and the MSO
- Performs other duties as directed.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets and Power Point skills, to build Executive level reporting packages
- Bachelors degree required, Masters Degree or CPA (Preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Healthcare in an analytical role. (Required)
- 5+ years of overall professional experience. (Required)
- Experience working with Workday, Snowflake, Power BI, or other business intelligence reporting packages
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities in achieving expected results
