About You: 

As a Sales Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in helping customers solve their most complex challenges. You’ll work directly with clients, translating their unique business needs into technical solutions while collaborating with our sales teams to drive success. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, customer-facing abilities, and sales support. If you have experience in software sales engineering, technical implementation, or solution consulting—especially within industries like construction or finance—this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll bridge the gap between business challenges and technical solutions, managing client expectations while driving successful project outcomes. Day to day, you will:

  • Understand Customer Needs: Grasp the business challenges of your clients and translate these into tailored technical solutions that address their unique requirements.
  • Design and Configure Solutions: Prepare and configure software to demonstrate how it can solve specific business challenges, customizing workflows and processes to deliver maximum value.
  • Engage in Client Presentations and Webinars: Conduct compelling client-facing demonstrations to showcase the power of Access’s technology stack, whether in-person or via video conferencing.
  • Provide Sales Support: Work closely with sales teams to provide technical expertise, helping answer client questions and offering insights throughout the sales cycle to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Build strong relationships with sales, marketing, product, and development teams to ensure alignment and anticipate customer needs.
  • Lead Solution Configuration: Configure and tailor software based on client specifications, ensuring the solution meets their business objectives. Customize proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate value.
  • Drive Discovery Processes: Lead discovery sessions with prospects to deeply understand their challenges and ensure your demonstrations are targeted, impactful, and tailored to their specific needs.
  • Support RFPs and ITTs: Answer technical questions and provide expert advice during the bidding process to ensure our solutions are clearly articulated and aligned with client requirements.
  • Create Video Content for Digital Sales: Develop video content to support webinars, digital sales efforts, and promotional materials that highlight the value of our solutions.
Requirements

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. 
  • Strong general software, IT, and construction knowledge. Financial experience is especially desirable. 
  • Strong ability to understand and articulate how technology can solve complex business problems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach to overcoming technical and business challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage effectively across various internal teams and with clients.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or software implementation role, ideally within the technology or SaaS space.
  • Experience in construction, accounting/finance, or similar industries is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with RFP processes and creating technical responses.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, technical infrastructure, and software integration.
  • Ability to create engaging video content and other sales materials to support digital marketing strategies.

Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually, with additional On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including location, qualifications, experience, and skill set.
