Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Reports To: Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist
About the Role:
We're looking for a friendly and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team! In this non-exempt role, you'll be assisting in the smooth operation of our pharmacy while working closely with the Pharmacist. We’d especially love to hear from bilingual candidates, as a big portion of our patients speak Spanish.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist patients, both in-person and over the phone, with great communication skills and a smile.
- Prescription Processing: Accept written prescriptions, gather needed details, and input information into the pharmacy computer systems.
- Medication Handling: Accurately count or measure medications, package them with proper labels, and prepare reconstituted medications as needed.
- Tech-Savvy: Operate pharmacy and clinic software for prescription processing and insurance claims.
- Organization: File completed prescriptions neatly, hand out refills when no counseling is needed, and make sure supplies like vials and bags are stocked and ordered as needed.
- Team Player: Take on other tasks as assigned to keep the pharmacy running smoothly.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one year of related experience.
- Credentials: Must be licensed/certified as a Pharmacy Technician in North Carolina (or complete within 6 months to 1 year of employment).
Salary Description
$15 - $17 per hour
