Job Title: Vice President, Hub Operations


POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer or Sr. VP of HUB Operations, the Vice President of HUB Operations acts as a senior-most Operational Leader for manufacturer HUB Services and or Digital Services program, upper management, and the client. He/she is a leader who is responsible for overseeing implementations, program metrics (both for internal tracking and customer requirements). They should implement and manage consistent operational best practices and continuous improvement efforts to improve internal results and outcomes as well as those customer metrics that align with their business purposes. They must understand Pharma manufacturer hub support services in the specialty pharmacy marketplace.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coach, develop, and hold program management team accountable for delivering areas of responsibility and exceeding client expectations.
  • Identify and prioritize key client targets within existing client companies based on strategic goals and objectives.
  • Outline specific strategies to drive continuous improvement, increase customer satisfaction, and expand services because of strong, consistent, and thoughtful delivery.
  • Understand competitive market conditions and forecast trends.
  • Research and understand client needs, product offerings, competitive threats, and most significant issues and challenges.
  • Provide solutions to specific client needs.
  • Deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Rigorous follow-up with key stakeholders to determine the status of business and communicate status updates internally.
  •  Accountable for overall client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Maintain client contacts to keep abreast of advancements and developments in the industry.
  • Travel required for client visits, industry conferences and product training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Utilize and encourage innovational improvements and changes within programs through six sigma methodologies, technology, and automation.


 Qualifications


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Requires a minimum of ten years of demonstrated operational experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, healthcare, or pharma hub services. 
  • Talent for building and creating program teams to meet the client needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required and a master’s degree preferred. 
  • Must have expert data analysis, reporting, interpretation, presentation skills and the ability to develop superior product knowledge. 
  • Must be comfortable and proficient with client services processes from onboarding to results measurement and ensuing growth. 
  • Experience managing budgets and P&Ls.

  •  Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership and organization skills.
  • Ability to drive strategic partnerships by relating to client needs and producing creative and innovative solutions.
  • Must be able to work as an effective leader and collaborative team member.
  • Must have knowledge of current best practices in all aspects of strategic corporate and integrated operations.

  • Overnight business travel required.
