Description
The Sanitation Tech will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the food manufacturing facility, equipment, and processes to meet regulatory requirements and company standards. Implement and maintain sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a safe and healthy environment for food production.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and utensils according to company protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers and scrubbers.
- Monitor and maintain sanitation chemical concentrations.
- Address any sanitation issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Available to work 2:00am-10:00am Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing sanitation preferred.
- Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and FDA/USDA regulations preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
- Availability to work flexible hours, evenings and occasional weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
- Physical demands: standing, lifting, bending, and manual labor.
- Work environment: fast-paced food manufacturing facility.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
