The Change Management Analyst - Drayage Agents (CMA) facilitates the successful adoption of new IT systems and processes by serving as a bridge between the IT department and our Dray Agents across the network. The CMA defines and assesses the impact of changes, defines transition plans, and creates structured strategies to promote user adoption. The CMA is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition by developing training materials, delivering workshops, and establishing communication plans that prepare users for upcoming changes. The CMA is tasked with monitoring the effectiveness of change initiatives through metrics, gathers feedback from Agents to drive continuous improvement, and provides ongoing support to address challenges and minimize disruption.
Essential Job Duties
- Develop, execute, and monitor change management strategies that support IT-driven initiatives within the organization. Analyze the impact of technology changes on Drayage Agent operations, focusing on process improvement and user adoption.
- Act as a liaison between the IT team, Agents, and business stakeholders. Ensure open communication channels, gather and prioritize requirements, and work to address concerns related to new system implementations.
- Support the project team with specific process knowledge of drayage operations and agent operations.
- Coordinate with the corporate training team to create and implement training programs and materials that assist Agents in understanding new systems and procedures. Facilitate training sessions when needed and provide ongoing support to address user challenges and improve their confidence in new tools and workflows.
- Document change management activities, including impact assessments, project scope, risk assessments, communication plans, and project timelines. Maintain accurate records of change requests, feedback, and resolutions.
- Develop and distribute clear and concise communication plans for all IT changes, updates, and releases to impacted stakeholders. Ensure consistent messaging and understanding of changes at all levels of the organization.
- Establish themselves as the point of contact for the Agent feedback team to gather requirements, demo proof of concept functionality, and gather feedback from Agents directly.
- Conduct risk assessments, identifying potential challenges or resistance points, and work proactively to develop strategies for minimizing disruption to daily operations.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives. Create reports and provide feedback to leadership on project status, employee adaptation, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change initiatives and ensure smooth implementation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and leverage change management best practices. Propose continuous improvement measures to refine change processes, improve adoption rates, and enhance overall satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with Drayage and Agent operational processes
- Deep working knowledge of Drayage Agent processes and pain points
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Problem solving/Creative thinking
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Critical thinking/analytical thinking
- Strong business writing skills
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Well versed with Process/System design
- Strong understanding of end-user patterns for Dray and Agents
- Top-notch time management and prioritization skills

- Strong knowledge of Drayage operations, Agent operations, and specific challenges related to change management
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed

- 10+ years of experience with Drayage and Agent operational processes
- Experience with MasterMind, Jira, Confluence, and Asana
