Project Manager for our Fort Moore, GA and/or surrounding area collection routes for our Refuse and Recycling contract with the US Army. Front Load and Roll Off collection experience is a MUST. Successful applicant MAY need to occasionally make front- load and roll-off collections based on workload. Additionally, applicant should possess general working maintenance knowledge and mechanical performance on refuse and recycling equipment, to include front load and roll-off trucks, container delivery, compactors, front load and roll-off containers and the like.
The Project Manager position will also dual hat as an Office Manager position. Experience in the office managerial duties of a Waste and Recycling industry is preferred, but experience in a similar industry would be acceptable.
Work hours are from 6:00 am to 5:00 Mon - Fri. Or earlier and Additional time may be needed weekly and/or on Saturdays.

Project Manager/Office Manager Responsibilities will include:
Dispatching refuse collection vehicles to the appropriate location
Ticket Entry into billing software and tracking and compilation of landfill tickets
Interfacing with Government Representatives
Assist with Government spreadsheets such as route sheets, container locations, refuse scale/weight reports, ticket entry, customer calls
Assist with mailing packets back to home office
Answer incoming calls and forward to appropriate department
Greet visitors.
Team with Corporate Operations Manager to address customer questions and service requests
Process and post company payments (if needed)
Enter daily transactions.
Filing Paperwork
Issuing POs and interfacing with vendors on work orders/invoices
Tabulating payroll to send to home office
SAFTEY Responsibilities:
Training employees on safe and proper Refuse and Recycling collection with Front Load and Roll-Off Trucks
Holding Safety Meetings/ Tool Box Chats
Manage the Project safety resources, provide guidance, direction and establish priorities for implementing Safety & Health and Environmental policies, standards and procedures
Review and evaluate Site activities for conformance with prescribed policies, standards, and procedures and recommend necessary corrective action(s) to obtain conformance.
Conduct independent reviews and surveys of Site operations and facilities to ensure safe workplaces, conditions and practices.
Utilize risk analysis and methods used to evaluate problems as well as efficient solutions to related safety issues.
Report, process and investigate all mishaps, to include injuries, property damage & near-hit events.
Develop and conduct safety and health training and orientation and weekly safety meetings
Assist with management of Project workers compensation, auto and general liability insurance claims.
Use computer systems effectively to document and manage site safety program & training records, and Maintain documentation for reporting purposes and audits.
Track and trend leading safety indicators, and Submit written reports per contract & company requirements.
Responsible for maintenance of safety and mishap records, including required OSHA recordkeeping.
- Applicant must possess at least a CLASS B CDL, have a clean MVR, DOT Physical Card, Clean Clearing House, PSP, Background Check, and pass a DOT drug test.
- Previous Waste Hauling Knowledge and/or CDL Class B experience required.
- Successful applicant must be a leader and be expected to perform any and all job duties on this contract.
