Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day administrative operations of the marketing automation platform, Marketo, and integrations with our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform.
- Develops and executes marketing campaigns from email campaigns, landing pages, forms, member onboarding, and member surveys.
- Maintains seamless connections between Advia’s marketing automation platform (currently Marketo) and its CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Implements and optimizes nurture campaigns leveraging both marketing automation and CRM data to generate opportunities for sales teams.
- Analyzes campaign performance using reporting and dashboards.
- Develops a scoring strategy model tagging prospects as leads: Market Qualified Lead (MQL), or Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) and partners with the departmental sales unit for pipeline management and automation. Nurtures prospects who are not ready to move forward in the funnel by delivering quality marketing content, partnering with Sales and Marketing to develop.
- Optimizes contact lists for performance and continuously tests, learns, and iterates on strategies to enhance campaign and email effectiveness. Analyzes sales funnels and member intent throughout the sales process to understand member behavior. Identifies areas for improvement and refines marketing strategies, including scoring, personas, products, marketing stages, communication channels, sales generation, and persona modeling.
- Assists in calculating and managing the cost per member acquisition report on the return on investment (ROI) of each campaign, including ROI by channel. Creates standardized marketing reports and dashboards to present performance metrics to stakeholders across the organization.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, all employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines.
Experience
Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Strong understanding of marketing automation.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A college degree.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Other Skills
- Passion for working in a data-driven culture.
- Proven record of executing successful email campaigns in a marketing automation platform in Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar marketing automation platform.
- Knowledge or experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, and persona set modeling.
- Excellent project management skills, including being able to manage and organize multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks and campaigns effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with unparalleled attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and receive certification in Marketo, HubSpot, and/or Salesforce Marketing cloud.
Physical Requirements
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
