We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-level role as Sales Operations Coordinator 2 to join our Kontron Family! We are offering an administrative position in our sales team in the Springfield-OH office. Our Springfield, OH group is specialized in chassis and power supplies for modular, rugged computing systems which are used in aerospace / defense, as well as in scientific research applications.

 

Requirements

  • Active sales work with existing and new customers to generate leads and purchase orders
  • Communication and negotiation with customers to provide product and sales process related information
  • Generation and processing/ managing of quotes and sales opportunities
  • Processing of customer orders and management of resulting sales process
  • Purchasing and expediting (securing the quality and timely delivery of goods)
  • Communication with customers for order status / tracking
  • Managing domestic and international shipments with UPS/FEDEX and other freight carriers
  • Maintenance of customer data base, price lists, sales data reports and statistics
  • Support business operation in daily needed tasks
  • Travel  approximately 20%. The willingness for traveling to occasionally meet customers at trade shows or on-site for sales and support would be required.


Qualifications:

  

  • Associate / BA in business administration, is required
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • CRM and ERP Software experience, is required
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Apps, is required
  • 20% travel- to occasionally meet customers at trade shows or on-site for sales  and support would be required.
