Digital Specialist
Description

This position requires a strong emphasis on analytical thinking, problem solving, strong attention to detail, willingness and desire to learn, ability to work within a team and individually, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to communicate professionally with clients in writing, in person and on the phone.


The Digital Specialist is responsible for assisting in the selling and implementation of all types of digital ad campaigns. This will include all or some of the following: geofencing, digital display, email marketing, social media marketing, Google Ads (Adwords), Bing Ads, and/or Google Ad Manager (DFP). This individual must understand the various types of digital campaigns and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, the strategy behind them, how to utilize them for success.


Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Meet with customers to help sell, optimize and report on digital marketing campaigns. 
  • Collaborate cross functionally with teams to develop effective marketing plans that generate revenue, grow event attendance, and support the growth education, news, and civic engagement in the community.
  • Liaise with company sponsors and media partners on deliverables including campaign design, creatives direction, and implementation
  • Enforce brand standards and maintain brand consistency across all platforms and communications.
  • Act as a trusted and strategic partner to internal teams and external clients, providing marketing guidance and support.
  • Lead the design, build and implementation of multiple complex and concurrent marketing campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and enhance marketing efforts.
  • Maintain clear, consistent and frequent communication with stakeholders on campaign strategy, tactics, goals and performance.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of digital and print marketing tools, including PPC, email, social media, display ads, geo-fencing, CTV, Radio, Television, magazine, and newspaper.
  • Proven ability to develop effective marketing plans utilizing a variety of tools and tactics.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tactics and timelines.
  • The ability to independently make decisions.
  • Self-starter who anticipates, prevents, and resolves issues before they escalate or affect the internal and external client experience.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. The person in this position should be able to clearly explain marketing services to both internal and external clients. 

Training will be provided, but experience with digital marketing experience is preferred. 


Salary Description
$42,000/year + Commission
