We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Manager to support a mission critical federal project. The ideal candidate will manage the creation, organization, and maintenance of content across digital platforms to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with federal guidelines, while also driving innovation to create a user-centric experience that sets the standard for digital government services The Content Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content that aligns with the project's goals and adheres to government standards. 


This is a full-time W2 position.  

Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.  


Location:

  • Remote with potential travel to Client site. 
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Vaultes does not provide visa sponsorship.  
  • You must be able to pass and maintain a valid Security Clearance.  
Requirements

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain a content strategy aligned with project goals and government requirements. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define content needs, timelines, and priorities. 
  • Create, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with federal standards (e.g., Section 508 accessibility). 
  • Ensure consistent tone, terminology, and style across all materials. 
  • Organize, categorize, and maintain content repositories. 
  • Publish content across platforms (e.g., websites, intranets, and print) following established workflows. 
  • Work closely with technical teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure content reflects accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for content-related inquiries and updates. 
  • Ensure all content complies with government regulations, guidelines, and contractual obligations. 
  • Validate that content aligns with the project's scope and client expectations. 
  • Perform user-focused QA testing to assess accessibility and functionality of digital content (e.g., screen reader compatibility). 
  • Identify and resolve issues related to broken links, navigation, and page layouts. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content management, editing, technical writing, or quality assurance. 
  • Prior experience working on government contracts or in a public sector environment is strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of QA processes and tools for testing content accuracy and accessibility. 
  • Experience performing accessibility reviews, including Section 508 compliance testing. 
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools like Axe, Wave, or NVDA for accessibility validation. 
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web publishing standards. 
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello). 
  • Knowledge of version control systems and best practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers. 

This is a Full-Time, W2 position. Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
