Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Engage in proactive sales efforts to generate leads and build relationships with medium duty commercial truck business owners. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Medium duty commercial truck models, features, specifications, and applications. Provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers, ensuring they make well-informed purchase decision
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding clients' unique needs and recommending suitable commercial truck solutions. Follow up with potential customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Lead Management: Effectively manage and organize leads through our CRM system. Continuously update lead status, customer interactions, and sales progress to ensure a streamlined sales process.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the dealership's finance and service departments to offer comprehensive solutions to customers. Work as a team player to achieve overall dealership objectives.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify opportunities and challenges within the commercial truck market.
  • Networking: Build a strong professional network within the commercial vehicle industry, attending relevant events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Documentation: Accurately prepare and complete all necessary paperwork related to sales transactions, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and legal requirements.


Requirements

Requirements:

 

  • Experience: Proven experience in Medium or Heavy duty commercial truck sales is required.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of commercial vehicles, their applications, and the ability to explain technical details to customers is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interactions with customers and team members.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated sales skills, including negotiation, prospecting, and closing deals. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is advantageous.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional service to commercial truck buyers.
  • Self-Motivated: A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a competitive sales environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for demonstrating commercial trucks to potential customers.
