Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to help execute our menu with precision and excellence! Join our team for a new restaurant on Park Avenue in Winter Park!
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards of fine dining, following recipes and specifications from the Executive Chef.
- Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes before they reach guests.
- Manage a specific station (e.g., grill, sauté, fish, etc.) and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy meal periods.
- Follow precise instructions and recipes from the executive chef to ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards, including proper food storage and kitchen sanitation.
- Monitor food inventory, restock supplies as needed, and communicate any shortages to the chef or kitchen manager.
- Assist with daily prep work and ensure proper setup for service.
- Contribute to the kitchen's smooth operation by collaborating with other line cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers.
- Uphold the standards of the restaurant by maintaining a professional attitude, work ethic, and dedication to quality.
