As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Traliant, you’ll be instrumental in converting inbound leads into qualified sales opportunities. In this high-impact role, you will focus on increasing inbound conversion rates, maturing leads, and refining our SDR processes. Your expertise will not only support immediate revenue growth but also shape the foundational infrastructure and best practices of Traliant’s SDR team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Conversion: Manage and convert inbound leads efficiently, increasing overall conversion rates by engaging and qualifying prospects.
  • Lead Nurturing: Proactively nurture leads to increase sales readiness, conducting initial discovery calls to understand needs and pain points, leveraging personalized communication to guide them through the buyer’s journey. 
  • Process Improvement: Help formalize and optimize Traliant’s SDR infrastructure, introducing best practices, tools, and techniques that ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Use CRM and sales enablement tools to track, analyze, and report on conversion rates, lead quality, and sales pipeline, driving insights to optimize outreach efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and strategic improvements to our demand generation process.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Assist in training junior SDRs, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Requirements


  • Sales Expertise: 5+ years of experience in a B2B sales development or business development role, ideally with a focus on inbound lead conversion and qualification.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret CRM data and analyze conversion metrics to inform decision-making and optimize outreach efforts.
  • Process Orientation: Experience in formalizing SDR processes and infrastructure, with a strong understanding of lead qualification frameworks.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects authentically and convey Traliant’s value proposition with exceptional listening skills to better understand and meet client needs
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms; comfortable navigating and implementing sales tools to drive efficiency.

Position type and expected hours of work: Full time. Fully remote. Work schedule Monday - Friday, regular business hours. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a professional, fast paced environment that may require additional hours to complete work.
