Overview
The Strategic Account Manager role is customer-facing and responsible for managing the relationship for a portfolio of customers by guiding them, answering questions, and building great relationships with rapport and credibility. This role is a subject matter expert in the field whose contribution will go beyond just support. They will actively collaborate with the customer to ensure they receive nothing but the best and stay ahead in a competitive market.
Accountability Key Initiatives
- Triage issues escalated to Professional Services
- Troubleshoot assigned and escalated issues
- Coach staff on inquiries regarding technical nature/problems.
- Identify, develop, and advise on solutions to solve problems, not symptoms.
Success Metrics
- Tickets solved per week
- Projects completed per quarter
- Professionally manage customer relationships to ensure consistently high satisfaction levels within a portfolio. Serving as the main point of contact for customers, providing guidance and support throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Technical Consultants or Account Executives to ensure that customer needs are being met.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers to understand their business goals, assess their satisfaction, and identify any areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to customers to help them maximize the value of Vantaca’s products.
- Acting as an advocate for the customer within the company, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed and resolved.
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) on our product and industry to provide customers with consultative guidance on how to get the most out of our product.
Qualifications
- Time Management: Juggling multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines requires effective time management skills to ensure that all responsibilities are handled efficiently.
- Presentation Skills: Delivering clear and concise presentations to clients, colleagues, and management is important for conveying technical information effectively.
- Customer-Focused Attitude: The ability to understand and empathize with clients' needs is vital. Must be focused on delivering value to clients and building positive relationships.
- 2+ years of relevant relationship management experience and Vantaca configuration experience.
