Secretary/Bookkeeper - 

Part Time


Summary

Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Clinton, St Bartholomew in Windsor, MO and St Catherine in Osceola, MO is seeking a part time bookkeeper who will be responsible for the financial records for the three parishes. 

This position is part time 25 hours a week, Monday- Friday 

 

Essential Functions

  • Create and track the budget throughout the year.
  • Prepare budget reports for the finance council and the parishes.
  • Prepare the annual Diocesan reports.
  • Process all bills for the parishes.
  • Process all parish donations.
  • Prepares and distributes all end of the year giving reports.
  • Track and schedule all parish maintenance.
  • Research new parish services as needed (ex: phone, internet, etc.).
  • Oversee parish hall rentals and coordinates the use of other physical spaces needed for the mission of our parish.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial transactions.
  • Experience in bookkeeping.
  • Experience using Quick Books.
  • Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
