Description

We’re seeking an experienced Product Marketing Director to spearhead our global product marketing initiatives. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging that sets Green Street’s offerings apart in a competitive landscape. With a focus on scaling our messaging and positioning globally, you will help manage product launches, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work with the rest of the marketing team to develop compelling sales and marketing materials. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our product marketing team, driving market leadership, and contributing to our rapid growth phase. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to shape the function inside of Green Street and lay the groundwork for growth in this function. 


Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Chief Marketing Office to help lead global go-to-market strategy and messaging for new and existing products
  • Acting as a liaison for our Product team while serving as an advocate for our target buyer and continuously surfacing insights from our clients, sales team & deep market research
  • Develop positioning that differentiates the product in the market
  • Implement product marketing best practices that increases throughput from product development through to sales enablement
  • Apply best practices for product launches, pricing, packaging, and positioning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement marketing strategies
  • Partner with the product organization and the marketing team to help manage product activations and go-to-market plans
  • Enabling our GTM team with quality product content for all use cases at all stages of the buying journey.
  • Becoming an expert in our space; mastering the competitive landscape so that we can communicate key differentiators of our products and identify opportunities for future growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business; Master’s or MBA a plus
  • 5-7+ years of experience in product marketing at a director or manager level, preferably in a B2B space
  • Excited to come on as our first Product Marketer and develop practice and discipline from the ground level.
  • Experience with end-to-end product launches in a global or mid-market focused B2B product
  • Managerial skills with a track record of developing teams
  • Ability to execute cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Experience in developing sales and marketing presentations and collateral
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Commercial real estate experience a plus

Working Conditions: The Director of Product Marketing will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and work out of our Newport Beach office during regular in-office days – Tuesday – Thursday. Must be able to remain stationary at a desk and computer for a majority of the day.  


Travel Percentage: <10%
