Job Summary:

The Senior Account Manager plays an important role including day-to-day account management responsibilities, guidance for the other account managers, and the ongoing development of the Account Management and Client Experience team processes and procedures. A successful individual in this role will take a “lead from the front” mentality by managing a number of client accounts directly and mentoring/supporting members of the Account Management team. They will foster cross-team collaboration by working closely with Team Leads and Lead Project Managers.


Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day account management on a range of accounts including larger and more complex clients
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and feedback
    • Coordinate and facilitate all client meetings (virtual, in-person, and regular phone calls)
    • Client-centric approach to solving problems and identifying issues/opportunities
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients
    • Handle client queries and resolve issues promptly
    • Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional services to existing clients
    • Creation of exceptional presentations for reports, deliverables, and strategic initiatives, as well as the delivery and facilitation of presentations
  • Ability to manage clients and service teams autonomously
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    • A well-versed storyteller with strong presentation skills
    • Complete knowledge of marketing automation, SEO, paid digital media, website experience, content strategy and e-commerce fundamentals
    • Requires limited oversight and/or assistance from team management
  • Work with project management and service teams to drive process improvement.
  • Establish best practices in account management and profitability and share out with account team
  • Collaborates closely with Lead Account Managers, assisting them in completing projects at the department level
  • Provides support to team members by helping solve problems, guiding them through difficult situations, and providing them with the necessary tools and resources
  • Assists in training and onboarding of new team members, including providing shadowing opportunities
  • Perpetuate the growth of positive team culture
Requirements

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6 years client service/account management experience in an agency setting
  • 4 - 6 years of experience with SEO, SEM, and/or Social Media strategies
  • Ability to understand complex client deliverables and confidently present them to clients
  • Ability to quickly learn and execute Rocket55 processes with strong a strong understanding of how other teams and departments operate
  • Excellent listener and note taker
  • Solid verbal/written communication skills

  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized
  • Strong business acumen
  • Willingness to take on any task with enthusiasm
  • Fast learner and accepting of constructive criticism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems
  • Understanding of Amazon or other marketplace platforms
  • Analytics/Google Ads Certified
  • Project management software experience (Accelo preferred)

Salary Range:

$78,000 - $92,000 - depending on experience and qualifications.
