THE ROLE
The Sr. Business Analyst is a proactive and take-charge professional responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives and managing projects with minimal supervision. This role requires strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to identify gaps and opportunities in our existing business models and drive continuous improvements.
The Sr. Business Analyst will support strategic business initiatives through detailed data analysis, report development, and actionable insights, while taking ownership of specific workflows and fostering robust data and reporting practices.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion with minimal supervision
- Workflow Ownership: Take ownership of specific workflows, leading the development and implementation of robust data and reporting practices
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document requirements, perform impact analysis, and adequately scope initiatives in terms of time, resources, and cost
- Reporting Solutions: Develop, document, and deliver functional reporting solutions that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
- Process Improvement: Serve as a change agent in process improvements and template standardization to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance
LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSABILITIES
- Train and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and support to foster their professional
- Provide work guidance and support, including but not limited to troubleshooting errors and collaborating on solutions within and beyond the analyst team
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field, or relevant experience
- 5+ years in an analytical role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a varied audience
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Robust quality control skills to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and SQL
- Adaptive to a complex and changing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with ad tech companies, online marketing, or higher education
- Experience in leading or managing analytical projects is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Remote Office environment
- No travel is required, but optional travel is encouraged from time to time for team building and in person strategy/planning sessions
