POSITION SUMMARY: MLS has a requirement for an experienced US-based Spanish language instructor to join a short-term (2.5 weeks) program in Buenos Aires, Argentina in April/May 2025. The candidate will serve as an instructor and an onsite coordinator for the program. All expenses (Lodging, Airfare, and M&I) will be paid for.

Requirements


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide classroom instruction in the target language to a group of native adult learners on topics assigned according to program requirements.
  • Assist with program planning and coordination.
  • Facilitate cultural activities.
  • Serve as the on-site coordinator and provide daily updates on program execution to the MLS team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience instructing adult learners.
  • Experience developing instructional materials.
  • Native proficiency in the target language (Spanish).
  • Native knowledge of the culture and current events.
  • Local in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiar with program planning and coordination.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position requires the candidate to stand for prolonged periods of time and participate in program-related activities.
