Company Overview:
FW is a leader in Cold Storage distribution, offering top-notch services in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We're seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor with at least 3 years of experience in a Cold Storage distribution center or equivalent education and training. The second shift is schedule is Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient unloading of inbound shipments, product organization, and staging of outbound shipments with a focus on quality.
• Ensure the accuracy and condition of all shipments, both inbound and outbound.
• Facilitate cross-shift communication to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment.
• Uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, following all security protocols.
• Enforce safety policies, thoroughly investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Ensure proper food safety practices are adhered to.
• Direct team operations to achieve objectives and performance targets.
• Conduct regular shift meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Plan and assign work schedules to accommodate workloads.
• Prepare and maintain records, including employee time tracking, daily receipts, and inspection results.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred
• 2+ years related experience in a cold-storage distribution center, or equivalent combination of education and training
• Previous WMS experience preferred
• Proficient with MS products including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in the written word (reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals)
• Previous forklift experience required
• Ability to lift 50 LBS repeatedly
