We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Kitchen Supervisor to join our Sheraton Galleria—Atlanta culinary team. As a key leader in the kitchen, the Kitchen Supervisor will assist the Director of Food and Beverage in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and adherence to quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their culinary skills and efficiency.
- Maintain a positive and motivated team culture.
- Oversee daily food preparation and cooking to ensure dishes meet presentation and taste standards.
- Monitor food preparation processes to guarantee consistency and high standards.
- Conduct regular checks on food storage, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Assist in sourcing high-quality ingredients while controlling costs.
- Respond to guest feedback to continuously improve menu offerings and service.
- Assist with special events or menu customizations as required.
· Train new staff members and participate in on-going training for current staff members.· Interview candidates for employment following proper interview procedures.
- Assist the Food and Beverage Director and sales staff with banquets, parties, and other special events.
- Understand basic food administrative tasks, such as labeling, food temperature log, and safety.

· These are required of every associate· · Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.· · Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.· · Hearing, writing, typing.· · Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.· · Other duties may be assigned.·
Additional responsibilities specific to you are:· · Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.· Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry·
· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
· Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
Must work any day or ties need plus weekends·
· High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education is preferred.
· Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.· · CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
