Description
- Greets patients; handles telephone calls.
- Enters/updates orders into the computer system.
- Performs phlebotomy duties; maintains positive identification of specimen throughout processing.
- Prioritizes tasks, giving STAT requests highest priority.
- Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to provide age specific treatment and care.
- Maintains supplies.
- Performs inventory.
- Dates reagents/other supplies; removes out dated items.
- Recognizes situations/results that need to be discussed w/Technologist.
- Distributes computer generated reports.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalency.
- Formal phlebotomy training &/or demonstrated skills preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Routine lifting requirements up to 50 pounds.

Salary Description
$15.50 - $18 per hour (Depending on Experience)
