Description

The Fulfillment Specialist – PAP’s primary responsibility is to set up and ship PAP devices. This position is also responsible for cleaning, preparing, inventorying, and stocking medical equipment. The expectation of this position is to provide a first-class patient experience, with every patient interaction. This is a fully onsite role working in our warehouse in San Diego, CA.

  • Sets up (initializes) and ships CPAP devices as per the sales order
  • Performs administrative work in Brightree, including data entry and documentation in patient files
  • Assists with receiving HST (home sleep test) equipment from the patient or front desk Downloads the data and confirms enough data has been collected to verify the test
  • Communicates the results to the patient
  • Sends the downloaded information to Diagnostics (RPSGT’s) for scoring
  • Cleans and disinfects HST (home sleep test) equipment per company infection control procedures
  • Stocks equipment and performs inventory counts to ensure all equipment is accounted for
  • Contacts patients by telephone to collect outstanding pending equipment
  • Works competently in Brightree to access and retrieve patient, insurance and billing information as needed
  • Provides patient demonstrations and trainings on the use of the diagnostic sleep apnea ambulatory recorders when necessary
  • Supports the clinical department with inventory control, cleaning and administrative duties as needed
  • Work mandatory overtime as scheduled
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements

HS, GED or equivalent required. Prior experience in medical equipment cleaning, shipping and handling preferred. Must be detail oriented, organized and neat in personal and habits. Working knowledge of Spanish language helpful, but not required. MS Office computer experience required. Ability to work in a warehouse environment including frequent frequent walking, frequent standing, ability to lift 20 pounds from a squatting to standing position, frequent bending and reaching, occasional kneeling, twisting, balancing and climbing, keyboard, telephone operation and operation of medical equipment as well as office machinery and equipment.

Salary Description
$18.00-$21.00 DOE
