Join Our Team: Barista at Èlephante Scottsdale

Bring your passion for coffee and hospitality to Èlephante, Scottsdale’s newest destination for dining and lounging. We’re seeking skilled Baristas to craft exceptional coffee and tea beverages while providing gracious hospitality to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of standard and specialty coffee and tea beverages with precision and consistency.
• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, following health and sanitation standards.
• Deliver coffee and tea orders to tables or the bar, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in table service by clearing dirty items after coffee or tea delivery.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of coffee and tea menus, including recipes and preparation standards.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members, including servers, chefs, and managers.
• Set up and stock coffee stations, perform side-work, and complete opening and closing duties as directed by management.
• Monitor perishable items for freshness, promptly discard expired products, and report waste to management.
• Participate in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and team collaboration.
• Foster a positive, professional environment and lead by example.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Previous barista experience in high-volume restaurants, lounges, or similar settings is required.
• Certification: Food Handling Certificate required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation, excellent multitasking abilities, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Role involves repetitive motion and exposure to hot elements.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
