Description
- Assist in managing and reviewing security logs and taking required actions.
- Experience with AWS network infrastructure and management. Knowledge of virtual private cloud (VPC), security groups and network access control lists (NACL)
- Supporting the achievement of Authority to Test (ATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO)
- A professional background in systems engineering/architecture, ideally in a United States Government environment.
- Ability to identify security control requirements.
- Ability to assist with parsing through code scanning to identify vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in the Java programming language
- Five (5) or more years of experience with the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and experience with one or more Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) platforms such as Glassfish or JBoss EAP
- One (1) or more years of experience Agile software development experience
- One (1) or more years of experience with Jira
- Maintaining system security configuration.
- Operation and maintenance of workflow systems in an AWS cloud environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry best practices and standards for software engineering and system compliance.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (from requirements to an operational system and system decommission)
- Experience with software configuration management (version control, bug/issue tracking, software build tools)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with effectively managing a team as a Site Lead assisting in prioritizing tasks, setting goals, and providing overall vision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership to include preparing and briefing status reports. In addition to daily interactions through email and other communication systems.
- Experience with Agile Program Management to include managing project schedules, mitigating risk, and effectively managing stakeholders.
- Experience drafting and submitting contract deliverables to include a Monthly Status Report and Meeting Minutes.
Required Education and Certification:
- A bachelor’s degree required in engineering, computer science, information sciences, or related field or equivalent in experience and expertise
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Security+
- ORACLE (Foundation, Administration, SQL, etc)
Salary Description
$200,000 – $220,000
