Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of Roxtec multi-cable transit (MCT) pipe and sealing solutions by executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and meeting assigned revenue targets. This position reports directly to the Vice-President of Sales and collaborates with other departments to achieve the company's strategic goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Support the development, implementation, and achievement of sales strategies and objectives, in alignment with the company's overall goals and targets.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of highly trained sales professionals, including hiring training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the Vice-President of Sales, senior leadership, and other departments such as marketing, product development, and engineering to ensure seamless integration of sales initiatives and product offerings.
- Build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, customers, and partners to drive sales growth and market share.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Assist in developing and managing the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and industry insights to the Vice-President of Sales and senior leadership team.
- Properly execute and manage administrative tasks such as CRM, expense reports, and other job-related activities
- Ensure team members consistently and accurately utilize CRM system, and use it to monitor activity
Requirements
- Proven ability to support sales growth, execute sales strategies, and meet or exceed revenue and other assigned performance targets.
- Strong understanding of assigned markets, including the ability to identify new business opportunities and effectively position Roxtec products to customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, customers, and partners.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of cable and pipe sealing systems (Multi Cable Transit) and their applications in assigned business segments or markets.
- Maintain familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to cable and pipe sealing systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape in assigned markets.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, and tools applicable to the cable and pipe sealing systems industry.
- Must be able to travel as needed to support the business

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or a similar function, with at least two years in a leadership role.
