REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Reports To: Controller

Supervises: N/A  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Senior Accountant job responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Perform month-end and year-end close, analysis, and reconcilement of balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with reconciling cash and clearing accounts.
  • Complete reconciliations and monthly tasks as assigned.
  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet and general ledger records
  • Prepare 1099’s at year-end.
  • Ensure financial records are properly maintained in accordance with US GAAP
  • Assist with preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Assist with annual SOX and external audit.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Independent worker who also functions well as part of a team.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Other accounting duties as required.
Requirements

 Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • CPA desired.

Minimum Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with the preparation of financial statements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Independent worker who also functions well as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and see things through to completion.
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
