ODRG is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to work with subject matter experts, scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements and recommend solutions in order to advance their mission effectiveness.

It plays an essential role in enabling our clients, the Intelligence Community, to gain a higher level of mission effectiveness and tradecraft proficiency, as by working with us, they will have access to the industry's leading expertise, which is crucial in allowing them to become more effective in their mission.   


Location: The position requires the candidate to be in-office 100% of the time for a collaborative office culture in Springfield, VA.


What You’ll Do:

Based on learner-centric principles, you will design synchronous and asynchronous learning materials for learners, as well as performance support tools that will enhance performance in the most effective manner while minimizing the time learners have to spend away from their mission.   As you implement your knowledge and creative abilities in combination with ADDIE and SAM models, you will help develop new learning experiences that are engaging and interactive.   A variety of evaluation methodologies, including the Kirkpatrick Model, will be used to collect and analyze results to ensure learning solutions delivered are meaningful and meet expectations. After that, you will assess and adjust learning solutions so that continuous improvement can be maximized.  


What we are looking for:

 An ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, since you will be meeting regularly with them to get ideas, gather information, and come up with innovative delivery ideas, as well as to integrate feedback throughout the development process. 


Requirements
  •  In-Office Position: Candidates must live in or relocate to the Arlington, VA metropolitan area and be willing to work in the client's office 100% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • Proven experience working with subject matter experts and clients
  • Proven experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses
  • Proven experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant
  • Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment
  • Experience in developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies
  • Experience designing and developing SCORM - conformant content
  • Experience and working knowledge working in multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate)
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • This position requires you to have an "Active DoD Top-Secret/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly". A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information.

Compensation:

The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration: contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of ODRG's total compensation package for employees. It is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.  According to experience level, salaries range from $80 to 110k.

Salary Description
$80-110K
