Description

This is an onsite position in our El Dorado Hills, CA Office.

 Compensation:  $120,000 - $130,000 year

RFgen is a leading mobility solutions provider, dedicated to transforming smart manufacturing and warehouse operations through cutting-edge technology. We focus on mobile inventory and barcoding applications developed using the RFgen Mobile Unity Framework. These applications play a critical role in extending the capabilities of various ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.), facilitating directed work activities and enabling real-time validation and system updates. Our advanced mobile barcoding software is built to deliver exceptional performance and flexibility, addressing the most pressing challenges in supply chain and operations. 


The Senior Project Manager will oversee the delivery of highly technical projects at RFgen, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Senior Project Manager will lead solution consultants and manage multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and customer relationship management skills to drive successful project outcomes. 


Responsibilities:  

  • Lead project teams through the entire lifecycle to design, build, and deliver RFgen solutions within agreed timelines and budgets. 
  • Manage day-to-day internal and customer project planning and execution activities using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile/SCRUM, or hybrid approaches. 
  • Schedule and conduct weekly project meetings with customers, fostering positive rapport and effective communication. 
  • Respond to all customer requests for information or services within 48 hours. 
  • Track, report, and escalate project issues and risks within 24 hours. 
  • Conduct weekly resource and capacity planning meetings to align resource assignments with skillsets and provide cross-training opportunities. 
  • Oversee adherence to methodologies, standards, and best practices by project teams. 
  • Review project deliverables for alignment with contracts and ensure accurate project plans and data are maintained in project management systems. 
  • Assist Sales teams in presales and business development activities, including delivering estimates and scope documents. 
  • Participate in month-end billing activities, financial reconciliations, and coordinate with Finance on invoice-related customer requests. 
  • Provide actionable insights by generating and delivering detailed reports and dashboards. 
  • Maintain a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to ensure successful project execution.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 
  • 5-7 years of project management experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience managing 10+ small to medium-sized projects concurrently. 
  • 2+ years of experience delivering projects using a software development project lifecycle (SDLC preferred but not mandatory). 
  • 1+ years of experience managing project budgets and reconciling against signed agreements. 
  • Exceptional customer experience management skills with a focus on successful delivery. 
  • Proven ability to create insightful project reports and dashboards. 
  • Experience with project management and professional services automation tools. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. 

Nice-to-Haves: 

  • PMP, PMI (Agile/SCRUM) certifications. 
  • Experience in supply chain or related industries. 
  • Strong IT project management skills. 
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms. 
Salary Description
$120,000 - $130,000 yearly
