Lactalis USA is currently seeking candidates to join our Ambrosi Sales team. This position will be remote, requiring the candidate to leave in the Western area of the US.

From your PASSION to ours

Ambrosi Food USA (AFU) was acquired by Groupe Lactalis in 2023 and unlocks a strategic frontier for the Lactalis USA business units. Your primary responsibilities as Regional Sales Manager will be to work with current customers to continue growth of the Ambrosi portfolio, leverage your sales peers to expand current distribution and participate in monthly business review and forecasting process. Day to day activities include, but is not limited to, penetrate senior account management, broker management, initiate new item distribution, and maximize profitability of product mix and other activities, which are important to continued development of the assigned account(s).


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:


· Work with the leadership to develop appropriate sales strategies and build the long-term plan as part of the company’s business plan

· Develop recommended trade budget, which will focus on effective/efficient expenditures

· Negotiate customer agreements in accordance with the company sales policy and check that they are implemented

· Responsible for effective management of all broker activities, respond to both competitive pressures and changes at the customer level

· Review market activity on a weekly basis using Circana/IRI/Internal Shipment Reports or designated company tools, identify new profitable business and customer opportunities and develop strategies by facilitating communication between key accounts and Lactalis commercial team

· Work closely with marketing personnel on new product introductions and in the development of Customer selling stories by providing support and information as required

· Submit timely and accurate reports of activities and appropriate expenses as required

· Participate in Trade Shows and attend key client/stakeholder meetings to build on existing relationships and strategize on opportunities

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:


Education

· Incumbent will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university


Experience

· Five to seven year’s related experience in retail sales.


Specialized Knowledge

· Working knowledge of US retailers & Dairy industry.


Skills/Abilities

· Candidate must have strong administrative skills and the ability to develop working relationships with all major functions within the company.

· Excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary.

· Ability to travel as needed (25+%)

Salary Description
$85,000 - $120,000 annual
