Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving the goals and activities outlined in the Studio Business Development Plan. This role will be responsible to expand relationships with new clients, A/E Partners and Business Partners.

Reports to: Director of Business Development


Responsibilities

  • Work with JLG’s Practice Studio Leader and Director of Business Development to build the Annual Business Development plan for assigned studio. 
  • Primary focus is to lead new business opportunities and pursuits for the assigned studio. 
  • Develop and manage a rolling individual 30/60/90 plan that specifically outlines the activities to be accomplished.
  • Participate in networking activities such as conferences and industry events. 
  • Coordinate with JLG marketing to prepare proposals, presentations and other collateral material as required. 
  • Utilize JLG’s CRM Platform to manage all activities, leads and opportunities on a weekly basis. 
  • Engage in regular communication cadence with studio leaders and Director of Business Development.
  • All other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a field related to Higher Education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated Business Development or Client Relationship experience within the Higher Education design industry or a closely related industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience with a track record of business and market growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An existing network of client, partner and press relationships that can be leveraged for JLG’s benefit.

Compensation for this role is determined based on location, experience, and skills, with an annual salary range of $100,000 - $120,000.
