MEP Sr. Superintendent-Commercial Construction
Description

The MEP Senior Superintendent is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and field employees. Also supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems. This is a traveling position. 

Requirements

Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)

· Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols. 

· Oversee and assure the installation of material, equipment, and manpower. 

· Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to be aware at all times of expected installation dates.

· Ensure quality control and quality assurance throughout the company. 

· Request and coordinate material and equipment needs with on site leadership and Project Manager. 

· Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site.

· Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.

· Attend and participate in GC meetings.

· Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RMC Safety team.

· Walk job constantly to follow-up with installers.

· Identify problems that need to be corrected.

· Follow-up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.

· Maintain open and positive communication with field employees.

· Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements.

· Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.

· Available via telephone after hours and on weekends for emergency and/or customer related issues.

· Directly reports to Field Operations Manager.
